Schermata 2015-11-26 alle 17.01.00Federico Curradi is said to be headed to Peuterey as creative director of the Italian brand, according to sources.

Former Peuterey creative director Riccardo Coppola has been appointed chief brand adviser of the group, according to market sources.

It appears Curradi, previously men’s wear creative director of Iceberg, was tapped by president Francesca Lusini and Coppola, with the goal to further develop the Peuterey brand as a comprehensive, fashion label globally.

Curradi is expected to present his first collection for Peuterey for fall 2017.

Born in Florence in 1975, after living in New York for several years, Curradi moved back to Italy first working at Ermanno Daelli, then as head of the men’s styling office at Ermanno Scervino, later becoming head of the men’s collection at Roberto Cavalli in 2005. A year later, he started working with Iceberg on the company’s men’s wear line as a fashion and creative consultant. He was appointed Iceberg’s first men’s wear creative director in June 2013, but left earlier this month, to be succeeded by James Long.
