The concept behind this capsule collection was to reunite fashion and the internet, while gathering people’s opinions at the same time.
Treading the line between a modern approach and Nineties inspirations, luxury tailoring and urban style, and oversized proportions and flowing materials, Off-White has breathed its fashion vision into a ready-to-wear collection for My Theresa. Street style-inspired silhouettes are paired with feminine accessories such as laced corsets that to cinch the waist of oversized shirts, shades of powder pink and khaki enhance white trousers and blouses while hoodies and denim pieces contrast with frilled skirts. For this collection, Virgil Abloh, the creative director of Off-White, wanted to show what happens backstage at his studio, revealing the production process and asking for clients’ opinions on a cut and the length as he explained.
