Backstage, Alessandro Dell’Acqua said he’s often asked, “Why are there so few day clothes at Rochas?” Why, indeed? This season, for a change, he made them his focus.

Dell’Acqua is sensitive to fashion currents and, even if tailoring is not his preferred metier, he’s picked up on the season’s major shoulders trend and the renewed interest in statement flares. He also applied his fine eye for materials and his retro bourgeois aesthetic to shirt-dressing and outerwear.
